Kindness

{Post 68/365: Original Post: I AM a QUEEN}

~Confucius: Kindness Quotations~
To be able to practice five things everywhere under heaven constitutes perfect virtue...
gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness, and kindness.

Whenever the situation requires it be serious.  Don't joke, make light or otherwise belittle the seriousness of a situation or relationship. When the situation requires seriousness...BRING IT!
There is a time and a place for lightness and fun but if it is unwarranted don't be disrespectful to the needs of the occasion.

Whenever you have an opportunity to share a deep, profound, meaningful soul moment with someone else...TAKE IT! There is nothing more important you can do in your life than taking the time to share a moment with someone who is special to you.  Moments are so fleeting, life is so short and time so precious. Give your time, effort and soul to the people who mean something to you. AND one better, even to people who you don't know yet.

Be sincere in your relationships whether they be long-term important ones or fleeting ones that last only a moment or a portion of the day.  Be someone that people will remember and respect for your sincerity and well meaning attitude.

Bring all your gravity, soul and sincerity into whatever task you enter into and make a genuine effort to complete the task.  Be determined to finish what you start.  Be determined to be who you say you are and do what you say you will do.

And above all things be kindness itself.  When in doubt remember how you felt in a time of hardship or sorrow and what it meant to you when someone showed you a kindness and then pass it on...pay it forward if you will.  Any kindness you give freely from your heart and soul will always be returned to you somehow, some way, at some point in your future.

This all makes a lot of sense to me.  So I think I will try very hard to hold these five virtues most important in my life and follow them whenever I can. :)
