once upon a moment

I carried a dream

in my womb

he touched my heart

for only a moment

but I have not

forgotten

I will never forget

he wasn't mine to keep

but he was, IS

and always will be

a cherished moment

of HOPE

the birth

of an angel baby

my son

my light

my joy

my gift to hubby

my final creation

of blood and heart and soul

the light of my life

I hope the lessons I learned

from Abba and Sissy

help me

be an even better mother

for you

with chubby cheeks 

big eyes 

an innocent heart 

and overnight

 an intelligent

 capable

 funny young PERSON 

with ideas, wit and charm 
they can leave you totally in awe 

for but a moment   
YOU are their guiding hand

YOU teach them 

all that you know 

to be good and right and true

and when it is TIME...

you LET GO
You let them drop from the nest...

and you watch them FLY!
