the day you were born
I was still growing
inside my mother
but soon after
I also entered the world
we grew up
in different places
with different cultures
and yet some similar beliefs
and we learned about the world
one day
our paths intersected
and we met and became friends
and now we share a world
inside the world
there are many
parallels and similarities
in the paths we each travelled
and now that we share one
it seems a better world
and I am grateful
that you were born
to intersect my path
and teach me more than I would ever have known
if you hadn't come into the circle of my world.

My birthday! I have hit my 41st and I'm feelin great about it!
Had a great afternoon going out for lunch with my mom, going out for dinner tomorrow night with hubby's mom & dad and going to ENJOY!!
Took a pic of my baby sitting in the BIG chair:
Got lots and lots of love on my FB wall and couldn't be more content with my 41st year of life!
Even tho there are bad parts and sorrows I am feeling happier than I have in a long long time!
Happy Birthday Dad!
I miss you so much. Your grandchildren are grown ups now and maybe I understand your stress and worry for me better now. It doesn't matter that they are grown and out in the world, I am still concerned that they are doing ok, following their own hearts, finding joy and contentment with their work and relationships and LIFE. The youngest one is also someone you would have loved so much! I am sad and sorry that you never got to know him but, even more so that he has never known YOU.
Sometimes life has such great sadness.
I am still trying to find my way through MANY challenges and come out on top.
I'm trying to learn to "Don't worry,be happy!" I know what you meant now.
I know there are many things I wish I had asked you, I wish I had known about you but, it is gone now and too late to get back. I am grateful for the things did know and the time I did have.
Thank you for being a father I could be proud of.
More importantly for being a MAN I could be proud of and one to measure all other men by.
You were good, strong, compassionate, brave, honest and loving and I appreciate the things I have learned and the person I have become because of you.
Thank you dad for being you and being MINE.
I love you always and miss you so much! xo

Happy 40th Birthday Hubby!
I hope you will enjoy your Conan episodes streamed from laptop to tv and everyone coming next Saturday to celebrate your birthday with you at Wabora's hibachi tables.
Life begins at 40 and so will ours! xo
French Proverb
Forty is the old age of youth; fifty is the youth of old age.
“Maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you've had, and what you've learned from them, and less to do with how many birthdays you've celebrated.”
