Don't Let LIFE Get You Down

 ONE DAY AT A TIME!

So...I suck at being regular and consistent with my writing and  blogging. I DO let my health get in my way. However, living one day at a time and using your energy when you have it to use is a good idea. It's taken me a long time to figure that out. I am working daily, I'm just not sharing any of it. I'm working on a book series and have been for a long time. I'm in the middle of world building because I can't write stories in a world if I don't KNOW how it works or why. BUT I am far too ambitious! I am building a world inside a world and many different portals to other worlds! Worlds in worlds in worlds lol! WHO knows if I am even capable of sharing the story but I'm falling in love with the characters so all I can say is hope and wish me well! One day at a time, one word at a time...and one day we will get there!

there just aren't enough

10 Reasons I NEED to Write

{Post: 337/365}
Brainstorm 10 reasons you need to write.

  1. I love WORDS.
  2. I love the feeling I feel when I have written a poem or a piece and I read it back and KNOW that it is good.
  3. I need to VOICE my own voice without fear of judgement or reprisal. My OPINION is equally as valid as anyone else's!
  4. I need to SHARE. My pain, my joy, my excitement, my lessons, my heart, my emotion, my knowledge, my understanding. Maybe it will HELP someone else.
  5. I am a fountain of emotion and creativity. I need to unleash the floodgates.
  6. I need to show my children that no matter how many stumbling blocks you hit or how long it can take that it is NEVER useless or too late to follow a DREAM.
  7. I need to show my children that it is POSSIBLE for dreams to come true. Whether they pay off monetarily or not is  irrelevant...people READ what I write, therefore what I write is HELPFUL, USEFUL and GOOD and THAT fills my soul with purpose and JOY.
  8. Writing helps me solve my own emotional issues and release them.
  9. To IMPROVE.
  10. To express words, thoughts, ideas, emotions, reasons, dreams, heart and soul that INSPIRE.

I have dignity because I respect myself.
I have pride because I am aware of myself and the respect I deserve.
I have decency because I allow that OTHERS have dignity and pride in themselves.
I have compassion because I understand that many do NOT and I wish to help them find themselves and their own self worth, self respect, dignity, pride, decency and compassion.
In this way we can help each other build ourselves better and stronger in order that SOMEDAY we will ALL have dignity, pride, decency and compassion.
I think then the world will be a better place.

RECOGNIZE

{Post 172/365: Original Post: I AM a QUEEN}
Definition: recognize

Synonyms

acknowledge
realize
appreciate
accept
honour
treasure
value
notice
know
understand
approve
respect
SEE

I would like to suggest standing in front of the mirror and looking into the person you see.
Think of each of these words in this list and ask yourself if you can use all of them to express recognition of the person in the mirror.
Do you see yourself truly?
Do you acknowledge the spirit within?
Do you realize and appreciate who you really are inside?
Do you accept the soul looking out through your eyes?
Do you honour your inner voice?
Do you treasure the gifts and talents that you possess? Are you aware of them?
Do you value yourself? Do you value your own heart and wisdom?
Do you notice a quiet voice of dignity inside you? Do you hear your own voice?
Do you know yourself? Do you know what is underneath the surface?
Do you understand who you are and that what you do or choose is a reflection of deeper fears, vices, beliefs and perceived limitations?
Do you approve of what you see or do you try to change it, squash it, erase it because you think it is not good enough?
DO YOU respect the beautiful creation GOD created when he made you?
Do you SEE your truth? OR do you only see the mask you built and lies you told everyone including yourself to cover up whatever fears, inadequacies and limitations you suffer from?
I suggest you keep looking until you FIND the truth, know and RECOGNIZE the beauty in you and BRING IT TO THE LIGHT!
We are ALL beautiful, intelligent, capable, VIBRANT people with abilities, talents, gifts, ideas, hopes, dreams and beliefs. The sky is NOT the limit...there IS no limit to what we can do.
We only have to SEE, CHOOSE, BELIEVE and then FLY as high as we want to!
Sometimes it is hard to face our own flaws and imperfections and we think that because of them we deserve to be punished or we deserve everything bad that happens to us.
This is FALSE!
EVERYONE has flaws, imperfections, parts they don't like, things they can't change.
It IS ok. Learn to accept yourself as is and change the things you CAN change.
Be open to the POSSIBILITY that everything CAN and does change, that everything has a purpose. Be willing to grow and learn even when you think you can't and when the time for change comes you will be ready to embrace it and move forward. BUT, don't beat yourself up or punish yourself if some things can't be changed because you're not ready or because of circumstances beyond your control. JUST learn to go along with the flow of your life and things will happen as they should. Learn to cherish and believe in the person YOU are!
LEARN to recognize, accept and love yourself JUST AS YOU ARE!!

Evanescent

{Post 70/365: Original Post: KD Bissonette}

adjective
1.passing out of sight; fading away; vanishing
2.ephemeral or transitory

When I think of something that is evanescent I think of the gossamer wings of fairies or dragonflies. Something you can see but that is thin and ethereal, flimsy, light, or very delicate.

It is a beautiful word that brings to mind beautiful, light and airy creatures of fantasy.

Muse

{Post 69/365: Original Post: KD Bissonette}
  1. Greek Mythology. Any of the nine daughters of Mnemosyne and Zeus, each of whom presided over a different art or science.
    1. A guiding spirit.
    2. A source of inspiration.
  2.  A poet
A muse can be any person you meet in your lifetime that opens you up to yourself in a deeper more positive way and becomes the catalyst for change in you. A guiding spirit that brings the best out of you and makes you better and more of yourself than you have ever been. They will definitely be a source of inspiration to you and maybe even encourage YOU to be inspirational for others. Whatever things they bring you can be sure that they are things that help you to learn and grow and be better than you were before they came.  If you are lucky enough to have or find a muse then you should cherish every moment, every lesson. I appreciate MINE and I will ALWAYS.
