has a sense

for days when I am 

resting in bed

from pain

or sickness

asks to come in

with me

at the foot of the bed

coming closer

loneliness

that brings her to me

I don't know

but I am aware that

What Is Love?

my answer is this:

love is

a man

putting two

too big hands

in tiny gloves

mixing hair colour

and colouring my hair

which is LONG

and requires two bottles

and a tedious amount of time

to do

and really was NOT

his idea of fun

but he wanted to make me happy

so he did it

and FIRST he also brushed it

THAT is love

it is a phrase

the muse and I share

when he reminds me

not to stress

to breath

and not to worry

to be happy

when he says it

i smile

because i immediately
